Google Analytics UTM Builder
View ExtensionFor regular users (non upgraded extension):
- The extension does not hold, store, copy or send any of the data given by the user, including sites visited, URL created, Bit.ly links and presets, not on company servers and not on any 3rd party servers.
- The extension uses Google Analytics to track extension usage; which button is most used, how many times Bit.ly shortener fails, number of installs/uninstalls and general usage statistics. This way, I can improve the extension for the benefit of the community. For the tracking, Google Analytics creates a cookie (small text file with a random number in it) which identifies your browser (but not the user).
- The extension does not use Google Analytics or any other tracking tool or method to collect any personal data, like your browsing history, shortened links, Bit.ly passwords, links you created, presets etc.
- Bit.ly authentication – If you’re using Bit.ly shortener, the extension takes you to the official Bit.ly authentication process. This is the most secured and recommended way to do it. The extension does not store your user/password data. Once you connect to your Bit.ly account, a secret key (a.k.a ‘token’) is stored on your browser and only your browser can access it. The extension does not store this token on any server or 3rd party environment.
- The extension does not have any database or server side. It works only on the user’s browser and does not send any of your data anywhere but Google Analytics as described.
- Data Sharing – we do not share or sell the statistics collected by Google Analytics
For user who sign-up and upgraded the extension:
